Large Flow Blue & Gold Cheese Dish

  • ITEM - Large Flow Blue & Gold Cheese Dish and Cover
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - Unmarked - possible Staffordshire Pottery
  • PATTERN - Unknown - very striking with the gold flowers and scrolls
  • DATE - c1890
  • SIZES - About 6 ½ inches to the handle on the cover - the tray measures 8 inches by 9 ¾ inches
  • The blue and gold make this a very striking item -it is a good size and a nice piece for display or use
    Condition of Item
  • Unfortunately this piece has slight damage on the rim on the underside of the tray in the form of several small glaze chips - two are on the edge which can be seen in picture three if you look very closely – the glaze has chipped off so there are no great pieces missing and because they are mainly on the underside of the tray they barely detract from the display of the item or the ability to use the item - they are all restorable
  • Apart from the items mentioned there is no other damage or restoration to the pieces
