MULBERRY TEA POT CYPRUS
This lovely early Classic Gothic shaped teapot is by Davenport
The pattern is Cyprus
Date is around 1845
Colour is between an Inky Blue Black and Mulberry not Flow Blue by any stretch of the imagination
The teapot around 9 ½ inches high to the finial on the lid and 9 ½ inches across from
spout to the handle inclusive
It has not gone through it's long life without damage sorry to say
The finial has been reattached to the cover - and not professionally but it is passable

On the main body of the teapot there is a very fine tight line that runs half way across the base and up the main body of the teapot towards the spout but this is not very noticeable but it is there none the less
These flaws have not spoilt the overall look of the teapot and it makes a great
display item
It is very rare to find these early teapots here in the UK
